I finally watched Over The Garden Wall this month! Has anybody else seen it? Let's discuss it!

It was a really beautiful cartoon. I got recommended it by Austa back on the other forum. Self contained and creative story that just stays with you. I think you said this before but it feels Christmasy a bit?
I'd watch it again. Great work.

Christmasy, eh? I don't recall saying that but I can see where you're coming from, especially towards the end where The Unknown turns to winter. Even though it was creepy, the setting felt nostalgic to me... it brought me back to Halloween and autumn when I lived up north. From now on, when I go back up there to visit, I will be avoiding the nearby forests... lest I see a pair of glowing round eyes. It definitely is quite the story, I watched it in early November and I'm still thinking about it. I realize now how deep it is, and every time I think over it I'm realizing new things and forming new theories. But the great thing is, it's not just deep meanings and dark implications, it's also a very fun story with enjoyable characters and comedy. The show is definitely something you could enjoy at almost any age, I think.

The Beast.
That was genuinely terrifying. I'm not sure if it was you who said it though. Definitely felt more halloween on my side haha.
That's exactly it. I was ignoring other genres because I wanted to be purely anime, but this just revived my hope in the cartoon scene (Got betrayed by Cartoon Network for a long time so I only had anime to depend on). I'd love to hear some of those theories haha.
I'm goign to watch it in January for sure.
